Telerik RadGrid Provides Native LINQDataSource Support

Telerik announced that RadGrid, its AJAX-powered datagridcontrol, provides native and codeless support for the new Microsoft .NET3.5 LinqDataSource. By leveraging LINQ s query capabilities, RadGrid helps youhandle millions of records in just a few milliseconds.

 Included inVS2008, the LinqDataSource control reduces the need for writing code whenperforming data operations. Developers can use it and manage tons of data intheir applications by binding data to ASP.NETdata controls from any LINQ-enabled data model.

 With the newlyreleased RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX, Telerikmoved its LINQ support to the next level; now the grid will perform alloperations, like sorting, filtering, paging, etc. using pure LINQ to Objectsinternally. Developers can use any data source object or data source controlwithout any limitations or further constraints. In addition, RadGrid s design-timesupport functionality allows easy configuration with LinqDataSource.
