MicroOLAPTechnologies released Packet Sniffer SDK, a development suite for networkpacket capture that works without any preinstalled network drivers. ThisWindows library set includes ActiveX, DLL, VCL, and static library editions forMicrosoft VC and Borland C compilers.

  Previously available only toDelphi/C++Builder developers, the suite has been rewritten in Microsoft VisualC++, and is now available to any development environment, including BorlandDelphi/C++Builder, Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual C++, MicrosoftVisual C#, Sybase PowerBuilder, Intel C++ for Windows, and many others.

  Packet Sniffer SDK doesn't require anyexternal network drivers to be installed, but instead uses its own built-innetwork driver with a very high working efficiency rate. This driver worksdirectly with the network adapter selected in the application. Upon initiationand termination of the application using Packet Sniffer SDK, a built-in networkdriver loads and unloads, not interfering with the previously installednetworking software.

  Packet Sniffer SDK features a built-in BSDPacket Filtering engine, which leads to an even more increased performance.
