The Microsoft Band integration was announced in June of this year, a few short weeks before Microsoft released an update to the band to track golf activities, but now the full myRoundPro service has officially launched.
I signed up for the service when announced and had almost given up hope that it would launch, but received the official notification from the company today. Taking a quick look inside the web app shows a blank screen where you can manually add activities and where the Microsoft Band-tracked activities will show up.
Interestingly, the announcement email also promotes what looks like a Windows Phone app, but I've yet to locate either a link or an actual Windows Phone store placeholder for such an app.
To sign-up or login, jump out to myRoundPro.com.
Additionally, according to Microsoft's accompanying announcement blog, new stats are being made available in the Microsoft Health dashboard, sourced from the myRoundPro service. These include:
Mapped shot locations
Fairways hit
Greens in regulation
Putts per round
Sand saves
Scoring average
Shot proximity to hole
Strokes gained
Of course, this only works if you've already connected myRoundPro to your Microsoft Health dashboard account. You can do that through the Microsoft Health Dashboard by selecting the "Connected Apps" option in the menu...
