While the security software market tends to be dominated by industry heavyweights like Symantec, Microsoft, McAfee, Webroot, Trend Micro, and Sophos, Lieberman Software has managed to carve out a profitable niche for its own security products.
According to a Lieberman Software news release, their 2010 revenues increased roughly 40 percent over their 2009 results, and the company attributes a significant portion of that sales growth to the success of Enterprise Random Password Manager. Lieberman Software President and CEO Philip Lieberman believes that his company has found success by focusing their product development efforts on providing products that meet the requirements of enterprises and organizations with complex security, auditing, and compliance needs.
"[We] have been delivering the top products in this space for more than 12 years," Lieberman said. "Virtually every scenario that customers can envision for network-wide privileged identity security has already been solved, out of the box with just a few mouse clicks...auditors can return to our clients’ sites and immediately verify that controls are in place and functioning – even after systems, accounts and applications have been added or changed – with little to no manual work required to keep the environment well managed and secure."
