IT/Dev Connections 2014 Sessions Collateral and Downloads

We just spent a wonderful week in Las Vegas at the Aria hotel and resort for IT/Dev Connections 2014. If you missed it, you missed an event that was extremely unique and powerful. We brought in the best speakers, supplying the best topics and content to make the conference a truly rewarding experience to all in attendance. I hope you plan to attend the 2015 event, as it will be even bigger and better.

During many of the sessions, the presenters promoted scripts and other utilities so that attendees could take active part in learning the concepts delivered during the sessions. And, while some of the concepts seemed magical, they are all available for free download from the speakers’ various web sites and blogs.

So, we thought it would be great to pull together a single-page resource to be able to locate all of the endorsed examples.

Even if you didn’t attend this year, the session collateral will be extremely useful to you.

Kaido Järvemets

Kaido’s presentations dazzled each audience member as he delivered three sessions: Truly Better Together: Configuration Manager 2012 R2 and PowerShell, Building Custom Tools Using PowerShell, and Managing Configuration Manager with PowerShell. Each session included several PowerShell examples and they are all available for download from here:

Kent Agerlund

In addition to a full-day workshop on Monday called, Using System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager in the Real World, Kent also delivered two sessions during the week. His sessions were: Configuration Manager 2012: In-Depth Site Review and Managing Configuration Manager with PowerShell.

Here’s what he has available for download.

Darren presented on two topics at IT/Dev Connections 2014, covering Desired State Configuration for Windows Server Administrators and Best Practices for Group Policy Deployment and Management. Darren provided PowerShell script examples for his DSC talk and they can be downloaded from here:

Johan Arwidmark

Never to be outdone, Johan likes to do things differently. Instead of supplying a simple link to a page for his full-day workshop, Using System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager in the Real World: Notes from the Field, he produced a short video covering his session’s sample files as part of his continuing “Deployment News” series.

Here it is:

Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson has now provided his IT/Dev Connections In-Depth Site review session demo. It can be obtained from here: http://stevethompsonmvp.wordpress.com/2014/09/19/dev-it-connections-session-files/

P.S. Stay tuned. We’ll have more links to downloads soon, and we’ll keep the page updated.
