How To: Customize the Background Picture in the Windows 10 Mail App

The Mail app for Windows 10 is good. Not great, but good. But, I'm sure it will get better over time. Looking through the submitted feedback in the Windows Feedback app, you'll see a LOT of submissions for improving the Mail app. However, it’s a handy spot for most without an actual email client (like Outlook 2013) to manage email and email accounts.

There's a good amount of customizations available in the app. We've covered plenty of those already here on Supersite. But, to make the app truly yours, customizing the background picture is a must.

Here's how to do it…

  1. With the Mail App open, tap or click the Settings icon.

  2. On the settings options screen, tap or click the Background Picture option.

  3. Now tap or click the Browse button to locate your favorite image stored on your computer.

Incidentally, I feel mine works pretty well, considering this is how I feel about the tons of emails I receive every day.
