Quick Tip: How to enroll in the Office 365 Insider Fast Ring

Last week Microsoft shared a huge list of updates that arrived for Office 365 in the month of August including new inking, Windows Information Protection and improvements for Outlook on the Web.

Among those announcements was also news that Microsoft was planning to open up a Fast Ring for Office Insiders that would give testers access to the same builds that Microsoft employees were using each week.

That new Fast Ring is now rolling out to anyone who wants to get in on the leading edge of testing the programs included in Office 365.

There are a couple of requirements to gain access to the Office 365 Fast Ring:

  1. You must be an Office 365 subscriber.
  2. You must be enrolled in the Office Insider Program and at least have your device enrolled in the Slow Ring with Build 16.0.7341.2021 installed.

If you have those steps sorted out then you can easily enroll in the Fast Ring and start gaining access to these new builds a couple of times each week.

This gallery will walk you through that process of getting into the Fast Ring for Office 365 and then updating to the latest Fast Ring build.
