Microsoft Unwraps 12 Days of Deals Early; Discounts on Hardware, Software, Services & In-Store Deals

The fact that Microsoft is offering a series of daily deals/discounts through their online and physical Microsoft Stores leading up to Christmas is not major news because they have done this for quite a few years.

However, there are two big differences this year with the annual tradition compared to years past.

The first is that the company has revealed all of the daily deals ahead of time instead of attempting to keep it under wraps.  The entire list has always leaked out in the past so this puts Microsoft in control of the release.

Secondly, it looks like if you want to enjoy the majority of the discounts on software and services then you will need to get those in the physical stores and not online because they will be offered as in-store door busters in the U.S. and in-store door crashers in Canada instead.

Of course with all of the offers over this 12 day period, they are caveated with the standard while supplies last. It also appears these deals will only be offered in the U.S. and Canada.

It looks like the door buster/crasher offers are the same at U.S. and Canadian physical stores and there are just a couple of variations between the daily deals in each country.

Here is a rundown of the 12 Daily Deals (physical and online) for U.S. customers:

By the way, anyone know why they are called door crashers in Canada instead of door busters like in the U.S.?

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
