First Look: Lenovo Yoga 900

Just in time for my next trip, the Lenovo Yoga 900 has showed up. This will give me a full week operating the device as my daily driver while traveling, which will make for a wonderful hands-on test.

I’m already a bit reluctant after feeling the weight. Straight out of the box it feels a bit heavier than the HP Spectre x360. But, my excitement to use and test this device will definitely overcome the weight discrepancy for now.

The specs for the unit I’m testing for the next week are as follows…

  • Processor - 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6500U Processor (2.50GHz 1600MHz 4MB)

  • Operating system - Windows 10 Home 64

  • Display - 13.3" QHD+ LED Glossy Multi-touch with integrated camera (3200x1800)

  • Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 520

  • Memory - 16.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3L 1600 MHz

  • Hard Drive - 512GB SSD

  • Network Card - Intel Wireless-AC 8260

  • Bluetooth - Bluetooth Version 4.0

  • Pointing device - ClickPad

  • Battery - 4 Cell 66 Watt Hour Li-Polymer

Take a look through the gallery of screen shots to get a sense of what this device is like.
